Finally Re-connected
I am still in Wuhu, China. I am still teaching at Anhui Normal University. I am still serving my students. I am still blessed with goodness. I am still struggling with hardships. I am still here seeking to live my life out to the fullest it can be lived...It's just that for nearly two months i've been doing it without a computer by which to communicate with. :-( (so sad). Now after various phone calls with Apple representatives in Nanjing and the support of my dad, I now own a new 17" iMac desktop. I just picked it up set up the past few days.
I nearly went crazy not being able to share some of the many ups and downs, joys and pains, of the past month and a half with each of you. Now that I have a computer I'm dying to hear from all of you. Please let me know how you are doing!! How can I be lifting you up??
Praise Him for the ability to communicate even half a world away from one another. I am not exaggerating when i say that many times during the past month I literally cringed at the thought of not being able to connect with all of you. Only when you lose the blessing do you really appreciate it. You are all such a blessing to me.
Now that you know where I've been... you might be wondering what I've been up to.
Well.. I've been up to a lot. In fact, more has developed in the past month and a half here than my entire second semester last year it seems.
It's proof and evidence to me that although I haven't been able to stay in contact with many of you that you have been lifting me up in your thoughts. He is doing some absolutely amazing things and I wish you could be here to see it.
It is all too much to share in a entry.
But perhaps I can share it over the course of several shorter ones...
So be looking forward to more updates from me these next few weeks as i try and catch you all up with Father's glorious work here in this place. You can also be checking my photo site (www.flickr.com/photos/easten) for massive updates as I find time.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: I've got to update my address book all over again since I lost a lot of the information from before. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE WANTS TO BE ON MY MASS E-MAIL LIST. I just sent out one today so if you didn't get it... i may have lost your address
